All full-time employees of LARC must participate in Mandatory DSW Trainings in order to be in compliance with Louisiana State regulations and Medicaid.

Duanchelle Zeno is LARC's full-time Training Coordinator. Classes currently offered include CPR/First Aid,DSW (Direct Staff Worker), /New Hire Orientation and Annual Trainings. Notices and the training calendars are sent out to all departmetns/attendees noting which classes are being offered. These classes must be scheduled through the Training Department.

Topics in DSW include Confidentiality/HIPAA, Abuse/Neglect,OSHA, Client Rights, Staff Ethics, People First Language, Emergency Preparedness and Safe Lifting and Behavior Management.

The Training Room is located in the Administrative Annex Building between Residential Services and Supported Work. The newly renovated training room is open for business! We wish Duan good luck in her new space!
